Drum Circle Tues. June 21 2022 Gearhart Oregon 3:00 PM

Featured

We are meeting for the 2022 solstice Gearhart Oregon. Start time 3:00 PM.

Bring a chair, a drum, and a percusion instrument if you have one. (Shakers, bells, blocks, frogs, something to make noise that is not a drum.) This is an outside event.

Masks are not required, but we respect everyones masking preference. Vaccination required to encourage public health.

Location: The park is where Pacific avenue runs into the Pacific Ocean in Gearhart Oregon. (The road into Gearhart – look for the Dairy Queen) The park is often called “overlook park” and has stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.

We will cancel if it looks like rain. Write to us and get on the mailing list to get a notice if we are canceling.

The Whale Spirit Drum Circle is back!

Summer 2021 Covid shut down

We suspended our re-opening of the Whale Spirit Drum Circle. We were meeting outdoors and required COVID vaccination to attend our circles. Well, what can we say other than we moved too quickly. Our county is having record numbers of new covid cases again. We love the drum community that the Whale Spirit Drum Circle brought together. It is this respect for our members that moved us to stop gathering for a while. Not sure for how long the suspension will take place. Stay tuned. Play your drum. Be safe.

We are meeting every Wed. evening in Gearhart Oregon. Start time is one hour before sunset. This allows us to drum until the sun sets into the mighty Pacific Ocean. Bring a chair, a drum, and a percusion instrument if you have one. (Shakers, bells, blocks, frogs, something to make noise that is not a drum.) This is an outside event.

You must be vaccinated to attend.

Masks are optional.

The park is where Pacific avenue runs into the Pacific Ocean. (The road into Gearhart – look for the Dairy Queen) I sometimes hear the park called “overlook park”.

We cancel if it looks like rain. Write to us and get on the mailing list to get a notice if we are canceling.
